We handed the petition over in an hour long meeting with Lynne. Congo NOW! presented its four key concerns for the situation in the DRC. Mr Bellingham welcomed the work and responded with the UK Government's position on each of the issues raised. This is the start of an ongoing discussion with the UK Government in which Congo NOW! will be pressing for positive UK involvement to improve the situation of the people of DRC.
