DRC Vision was established in June 2008, by young people born in DR Congo and brought up in the UK. The organization was started by 3 people with the vision of giving BME people living in the borough of Hounslow a voice and of helping young BME people to achieve their dreams and ambitions. The founders recognized that this help was not being provided and that as a result a lot of young people from the BME were struggling with education and employment. Commonly, they turned to crime and experienced teenage pregnancy.

To advance the education and training of ethnic minority people – in particular Congolese residents – living in Hounslow. There is an emphasis on young people and woman in need of aid to advance in life and to adapt to the new community; however, this focus is not exclusive.
